The Purpose of the PBYFC organization is to promote football and cheerleading
for children ages 6 - 14. To benefit the children as a learning experience, and to
demonstrate the values of discipline, sportsmanship, team work, hard work, cooperation,
understanding and self reliance.
The Objective of the PBYFC shall be to implant firmly in the youth of the
community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and a respect for
authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier youth that may grow to
be descent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.
To achieve this objective, PBYFC will provide a supervised program of
competitive football games. Our league will follow the rules and regulations of whatever
Parent Organization our teams are playing under. The Parent Organization can be
multiple Organizations. To name a few of the possible organizations the Orange County
Youth Football League hereinafter called OCYFL or Parent Organization, Pop Warner
Little Scholars Inc hereinafter called PW, Pine Bush Home Youth League hereinafter
called PBHYL. Directors, Officers, Members (Regular and Member in Good Standing),
Parents, Coaches, and Volunteers shall bear in mind that stressing exceptional skills or
winning games is secondary and that good sportsmanship and leadership extended to the
youth of the Pine Bush School district is of primary importance.
